…BOAT!
Each year, York Rotary fill York’s River Ouse with striking vessels, and the race for victory begins!
This year, Survive has secured its very own boat, and we’re looking for a brave crew to compete and raise funds for us.
Survive is a local North Yorkshire charity, supporting survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Last year, we delivered 4095 hours of support work, counselling, trauma and EMDR therapy to over 700 survivors.
We need your support to help more survivors rebuild their lives and relationships, and reach their potential.
We’re looking for 20 fit and able rowers, available to take part on Sunday 14th July 2024. Each rower needs to fundraise a minimum of £100 to reach our £2,000 goal. Two thirds of what we raise goes directly towards Survive – the remaining one third goes to York Rotary and the Samaritans.
If you’re keen to participate, please do get in touch by emailing fundraising@survive-northyorks.org.uk by the 1st May. You must be able to swim!
